As the owners of an “ice cream” company, you’d think that we’re all about that summertime heat! However, we’re absolutely infatuated with fall. Call us #BASIC.

Along with autumn comes Halloween, the weirdest holiday of the year. Instead of indulging in some weird, chemical-laden treats this holiday season, we’re going to focus on healthy, sugar-free alternatives. Below, you’ll find recipes for vegan, gluten-free, & low-carb treats that your entire family will obsess over. These treats aren’t only adult-friendly; kids will be obsessed (plus you won’t have to worry about a sugar crash).

Vegan, Dairy Free and Keto Fall Time Favorites

Granola

Let's start off with Pumpkin Spice Granola... this isn't something that you can give out on Halloween, but it's a great snack!

Almond Joys

Almond Joy bars - homemade! This is really an amazing option to give out on Halloween!

Donuts

Moving on to something a little more "indulgent," these donuts are packed full of good-for-you fats, and are so moist and decadent.

Want to make them a bit more "fall" appropriate? Throw some pumpkin pie spice mix in the batter - voila! Pumpkin Spice Donuts! That's actually a great idea for a future recipe... stay tuned ;)

Apple and Pumpkin Treats

Gone Apple Picking? Use up all those apples in a gorgeous gluten-free & vegan Apple Crisp!

Pumpkin Cupcakes!

Anddddd how about some Apple Cider Donuts!

How about a very fall-appropriate vegan, gluten-free carrot cake to share with kids on Halloween? I think wrapping this up and giving it to kids as they come trick-or-treating is perfect! Or weird. Or both :)

Ready-Made

Not in the mood to cook? Me neither. Here are some of our favorite treats found in stores:

These Coconut Butter Cups from Eating Evolved are an actual party in your mouth. I HIGHLY recommend! Of course, there's always Justin's dairy-free Peanut Butter Cups if you prefer to stay with something a little more traditional.

This is my favorite chocolate bar on the planet. Yes, it has a bit of sugar, but it tastes so supremely indulgent. I'll take this over a jar of traditional chocolate-hazelnut spread any day.

Got cookies on the brain! Simple Mills makes amazing packaged cookies, and sugar isn't even the first ingredient. My personal favorite is the Cinnamon Crunchy cookies. Enjoy!

Cocomels are a great vegan caramel alternative.

For something that's a little bit more traditional, I'm loving these Unreal candy-coated chocolate pieces. It's like my childhood... just without the chemicals.
